Aerial Inspection of Hard-to-Reach Structures

Inspecting elevated components with no scaffolding and no shutdown — detailed imagery reviewed by engineers.

Sector: Industrial
Aerial Inspection of Hard-to-Reach Structures

The challenge

Traditional inspection of elevated components — large roofs, steel structures, facades — required scaffolding, lifts, or rope access: costly, slow to mobilize, and risky for the inspection team, which pushed inspections further apart than they should be.

Our approach

We performed the inspection aerially with planned flights around the structure capturing every component in high resolution, plus close-ups of suspect areas. The field crew is OSHA-trained for industrial sites, and outputs were engineering-reviewed with findings classified by severity and location.

The outcome

Full structure coverage in a single field day instead of weeks of mobilization, total safety for the inspection team, and an illustrated report that directs manual access — if needed at all — only to the points that warrant it, with a documented baseline for future recurring inspections.
